Adapting to the fast paced lifestyle, we are often subjected to confuse priorities almost amongst everything that attributes to our lives - work, lifestyle, food, relations, culture, family & friends. Of all of these, the most common routine that is given the least priority is 'Food'. Well, I am no different.
Especially with the remote work culture of late, where we are tied up to the seat attending back to back meetings , Food on the go, Crunch & Sip, 5 minute Noodles, munch & move, heat & eat ready-made processed foods, have become our everyday strategies, to fill up the belly, not giving the right attention to the nutrition, calories and freshness in food.
While we should try to minimize the consumption of fast foods, let us consciously carve out sometime to prepare our food, fresh, and become aware of its composition, as this is the key factor that bridges nutrition, health promotion, disease prevention, and food production.
This category captures information on some of those natural foods and the benefits they help reap, from my own experience & from what I've been reminded by our elders.
